Darjeeling, July29: Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) Polling in all 17 constituencies has been conducted peacefully in DGHC areas. GJMM, Trinamool Congress as well as an Independent candidate contested today. There are total 212065 voters and 292 polling stations in 17 constituencies under Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Kurseong subdivision, about 75 percent of total vote casted today as per the government sources. Out of 45 seats, GJMM have already won 28 seats unopposed, polling was held today for remaining 17 seats. The people have boycotted in three polling stations - Belgachi, Panighata and Sukna. However, there was no any untoward incident reported today. Counting will be held on August 2 and the GTA swearing ceremony is scheduled to be held on August 4 in presence of Home Minister P Chidambaram, MP Jaswant Singh, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
